Unique Deck Building: Customize Your Strategy
With 4 distinct guilds and 150 1st generation designs, build your deck to fit evolving playstyles. Dive deep into strategic gameplay while enjoying a constantly refreshing experience.
5 Card Types:
Heroes: Used to Attack Opponents and Defend against Attacks
Tools: Can be equipped to Hero Cards to add buffs, and other abilities
Banners: Played to the Battlefield, can change global gameplay with passive or active effects
Instants: Can be used at any point of the game
Locations: Change the Battlefield! Massive effects that last two turns. Only 1 per deck
Strategic Gameplay:
We like to say CotR is Fresh but Familiar, Anyone should be able to learn the basics in a few minutes.
At launch the game is 1v1 and the average game takes between 20-45 minutes.
Upkeep:
Reset your battlefield, Gather Resources by Rolling for Grace, Drawing Cards, Or some of Both.
Prepare/Engage:
Use the Grace you've been given to play cards. Implement your strategy by activating your Heroes to attack your opponent or utilize their abilities.
Respond:
Your opponent gets to respond to your strategy. Defender makes all response choices.
